Americans Make Statement by Signing Trio of Centers

The Allen Americans announced today three signings which include center Jarret Lukin, center Chris Gaudet, and center Justin Bowers, all of which have AHL experience. This is definitely a strong way to start off a new team in my opinion. All three of these young players have put up pretty impressive numbers in their short careers thus far. Allen is making a big statement very early in the game, and that message is for the CHL to look out because here the Americans come. The Americans may also be sending a message to their "neighbors" and current CHL champs, the Texas Brahmas. These two teams will more than likely be in the same division next season, and I predict a very heated and very fresh rivalry to spark up. With such impressive early signings, the Americans may (although it is still a little too early to be certain) prove to be a contender in the 2009-2010 CHL season.
